Featured Films:

Beyond The Bike
Runtime: 9 minutes

Beyond the Bike takes a look at the other side of mountain biking's most prolific athletes. In this film we take a step into the world of legend Anne-Caroline Chausson to learn about her history in the sport, her battle with cancer, and what's next in her life.

Chasing Wild: A Journey to the Sacred Headwaters
Runtime: 13 minutes

Three friends set off on a 400km bikepacking and packraft expedition through the heart of the sacred headwaters in northwestern British Columbia, birthplace of three critical salmon rivers, and home to the Tahltan people. In the wake of the devastating Mount Polley Mine disaster, the team’s goal is to understand what is at stake as a wave of new mines are developed across this remote corner of the province. Their journey offers an exciting and sobering window into this wild landscape as they pedal through vast boreal forest, paddle through frigid whitewater, catch monster trout, outrun a hungry grizzly, learn about the Tahltan’s fight to protect their homeland and glimpse inside a massive open pit mine.

Fall Impressions
Runtime: 7 minutes

Sarah, a freelance fine art and commercial artist, her work — and her play — all stems from flow. It’s why her mountain biking and her painting go hand in hand. Her goal is to share with other people whatever magic she sees in the world around her.

High Altitude Lines
Runtime: 7 minutes

The goal of this trip was to bikepack through the San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado and fish as many alpine lakes and creeks as possible. Sam Simmons, Justin Reiter, Dylan Stucki and Benjamin Kraushaar started in Telluride and made a big loop through the San Juans that lasted 10 days. Suffering through relentless rain, they eventually got into some fish.

Runtime: 13 minutes

In the winter of 2014, three friends set out on a self supported ride, looking for nothing more than a truly genuine experience. The goal: to circumnavigate one of the most wonderful and wicked mountain ranges in the world – the Huayhuash, by bicycle. This was all a spur of the moment idea; part of the vicious cycle of making every adventure more thrilling than the last. January was the off-season, or rainy season, for the Andes so the wilderness would be completely desolate. The three friends hoped to be the second group to complete this trek on bikes. However, they underestimated the relentless weather they would encounter as they traveled for a week above treeline. The friends tagged first descents down rocky couloirs and 16,000ft passes, watched sunrises against the tallest peaks in the country, and slept to the sounds of serac fall at night. In the end, they didn't quite make it as far as they had hoped. Between rain storms, concussions and waving guns the Huayhuash had ripped at their eager ambitions. A sense of wonder was fulfilled and the friendship of three adventure loving friends was reinforced. Huayhuash is the story of genuine adventure and the challenges that come along with it.

Outlaw Diaries II - Return to the Glory Days
Runtime: 7 minutes

A German mountain biker flies to British Columbia, buys a rusty truck and travels to the places where freeride mountain biking was born. It´s his life goal to ride some of those old bike stunts in the Canadian wilderness. The time has come!

Language: German (English Subtitles)

Tour of Ara
Runtime: 35 minutes

There are few more grueling cycle races on the planet than the Tour of Ara. The 800km stage-race through the South African semi-desert landscape of the Karoo takes place over six days, primarily driven on gravel roads. Ara is the name of the southern star constellation between Scorpius and Triangulum Australe (in Latin: the altar). This film artfully documents the internal right of passage of 40 ardent cyclists, who are willing to put themselves and their vintage steel framed bikes to the test.
