Booking FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions about booking a School Program.

1. Do you offer virtual programs?

Yes, we offer standalone virtual programs, taught by skilled educators remotely to your class. View the Program Guide and look for programs labelled “Virtual”.

2. Do you offer in-person programs?

Yes, we will offer in-person and hybrid programs. Visit the Program Guide and look for programs labelled "IN-PERSON" and "IN-PERSON & PRE-RECORDED".

3. What is a hybrid program?

Some of our programs have two sessions: one (1) virtual OR pre-recorded tutorial and one (1) in-person. The virtual component kick starts your students’ learning in the classroom, along with extension activities that will prime them for their field trip to the Science Centre. They will experience hands-on exploration in person! In our Program Guide, these programs are labelled as "IN-PERSON & PRE-RECORDED".

4. How far in advance do I need to book a School Program?

School Programs (virtual or in-person) need to be booked four (4) weeks in advance. Fees & Booking Info page.

5. How much do your school programs cost?

Please see our Fees & Booking Info page.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings can be cancelled, rebooked, or transferred to a new date if you give us more than four (4) weeks’ notice, minus a $10 admin fee for each program or show on your booking. If you cancel with less than four (4) weeks’ notice, a refund will not be issued. A secured booking is only cancelled with the teacher’s written request by email to bookings@twose.ca.

If a school must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. COVID-19 outbreak, school closure):

  • Bookings can be rescheduled to a future date during the school year.
  • If the booking is not rescheduled, the booking will be refunded in full, less the $10.00 administration fee.

Please refer to our Booking Policies for more information.

7. When do I have to pay?

Full payment is required within 5 business days of receiving your booking confirmation.

8. When do I need to confirm my final numbers?

Final student and chaperone numbers must be confirmed by email one week prior to the field trip date. No further changes can be made to your booking with less notice. All items on your booking are still the responsibility of that school including day of absence.
