SIM Science Week

Ignite curiosity and inspire a passion for science with this exciting week of science celebration!

Each day, for four days, students will engage in 45-minutes of virtual programming, facilitated by TELUS World of Science - Edmonton's SIM team. Students will be tasked with completing interactive experiments and challenges.

Make it a school wide event by inviting as many classes as you like! Share your class or school's challenge results with us by submitting your pictures and/or video.

SIM Science Week: Earth's Superheroes

Join us in exploring the elements - Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. Our Science in Motion (SIM) team will take your school through a four day discovery with daily demos and classroom challenges. Are you a match for the Earth's superpowers?

SIM Science Week: The Science of Winter

Sliding down to the sub-zero temperatures, your students will explore snow and ice, melting and freezing, and learn how solids, liquids and gases are affected by extremely cold substances such as dry ice and liquid nitrogen.  Embrace Alberta's winter with both outdoor and indoor student challenges!

SIM Science Week: The Science of Spring

Go green with our SIM science team to journey through the sights, sounds and happenings of NATURE as we explore some traditional themes of an Indigenous medicine wheel. We will challenge students to get outside to observe and connect with nature and all its beauty.
