Future Energy Systems
October 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Future Energy Systems is a research program at the University of Alberta. It was launched in 2016 to help Canada transition to a low net-carbon energy economy.
At their table, you can explore the past, present, and future as you explore energy and climate. PAST: how are dinosaurs and energy connected? Get hands on as you learn about fossil fuels and photosynthesis. PRESENT: where is our electricity coming from now? Sort through different electricity sources and find the answers. FUTURE: what does our future energy system look like? Get creative as we imagine what could come next.
