Event Queen Elizabeth Planetarium Grand Opening Weekend

The Queen Elizabeth Planetarium (QEP) became Canada's first public planetarium in 1960 and was closed in 1983. But now it's back!

During the weekend of September 29, you can receive a free tour of this restored Municipal Heritage Resource. Check out historical photos and artifacts in the lobby, visit the planetarium dome for a view of the night sky, see how the planetarium was built, get a complimentary QEP sticker*, and celebrate the return of an icon:

Friday, September 29: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 30: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 1: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
