Screen Time vs. School Time!
Join the conversation at Science on Tap: Screen Time in Schools on September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Zeidler Dome of your Science Centre.
This school year, classrooms across the province are implementing a new policy banning personal electronic devices, including mobile phones and tabs, during class time - a move designed to boost focus, reduce distractions, and combat cyberbullying. But is this shift the key to better learning, or are the benefits of technology in education being overlooked?
This event will explore the impact of this significant change. A panel of experts will present the latest research on screen time on and its effects on child development, followed by an open Q&A session where audience questions and concerns take centre stage.
Whether a parent, educator, student or simply curious about the science behind screen time, this is a chance to engage in a lively discussion that could shape the future of education.
