Will my child meet people online?

All camps feature opportunities to interact by voice, text, or video with your fellow camp participants. These interactions are completely optional and expectations for these interactions will be covered at the start of camp.

What is your policy on disruptive behaviour?

Spark works hard to ensure that camps are an amazing experience for all campers. Part of that commitment requires that we ensure no child disrupts the enjoyment or safety of the other campers through ongoing aggressive behaviour, bullying, the use of inappropriate language or other disruptive actions. Spark actively monitor these behaviours and, after appropriate steps are taken with the parent, Spark may request a camper cease coming to camp. At Spark, we embrace a no-bullying policy for the benefit of all staff and guests.

What happens if I want to watch the video again?
Pre-recorded videos will be available to campers for one month on our video platform.

What is the last day to register?

Camp enrollment will be closed one week before the start of camp.

Will camps be offered with closed captioning for the hearing impaired?
Prepared videos that appear on TELUS Optik TV on Demand will be offered with closed caption. Live video feeds and guest videos will not be captioned.

Is parental supervision required for all the parts of the camp days?
Live chats and video content do not replace parental supervision. Guardians are responsible for the safety of their child at all times.

How long can I access the content once the camp is over?
Content on the Spark video platform will be available for 1 month after it is posted.
