Outreach in Edmonton

Outreach Outside Edmonton
Is your school located at least 100 km from Edmonton? If so, the Science in Motion (SIM) outreach team will ignite curiosity, inspire discovery, celebrate science, and change lives by bringing exciting, affordable, and convenient programs to your school community.
Virtual Programs
If you’re looking for a science field trip without the complication of bussing, this is for you! All you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a projector to have one of our presenters come right to you!

Science School
An exciting opportunity for students to engage in inquiry-based learning: apply for the Inquiring Minds in-person program and inspire your students with a week of interactive exploration, discovery, and fun at the Science Centre.
Home School
Experience the same high-quality, curriculum-based programming offered to Alberta schools. This program complements home-based learning experiences.
Science Sleepovers
Experience an overnight school field trip like never before! The unique Science Sleepovers include hands-on interactive learning, an engaging science demonstration on the Science Stage, self-a guided exploration of the galleries, an IMAX® film, and an exciting planetarium show in the Zeidler Dome the next morning. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary educational journey!
