TELUS World of Science - Edmonton hosted this exhibition from May 18 to October 19, 2013.

BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life made its Canadian debut at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton.

Bigger and more impressive than the first exhibition, this all new exhibit let you peer behind the curtain and see the human body as never seen before.

The exhibition used real human specimens. Pioneering anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens presented the body throughout the human life cycle and across the arc of aging. More than 200 plastinates—real human specimens preserved through Dr. von Hagens' invention, the remarkable process called Plastination—revealed the human body in all its stages, across fetal development, maturity and advanced age, and in all its conditions, from health to distress to disease.

BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life is an anatomical exhibition that has an established body donation program and the informed legal consent of all those on display.
