Looking for a fun and educational way for your child to spend their next PD Day? Look no further! TELUS World of Science - Edmonton educators have created special programming throughout the year, to keep your child's hands and minds engaged and entertained all day long.

PD Day Camps for 2017: 

Halloween Hijinks - SOLD OUT
Friday, October 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For children ages 7 to 9

Take a journey into the science of spooky with a fun-filled day of tricks and treats. Campers will use charged electrons to simulate a ghostly visit, build and test mini-rockets, and even carve out jack-o-lanterns with a little explosive help!

Science Investigators
Thursday, November 09, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For children ages 7 to 9

Question everything! Just how strong is an egg? Did pirates wear eyepatches for fashion or to help their eyesight? Can you poke holes in a balloon without popping it? These myths and more will be put to the test during this action-packed day.

Use the Force
Friday, November 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For children ages 7 to 9

Discover what powerful forces affect us every day! Campers will harness the power of magnetism with electromagnets, use gravity to master the skills of catapults and program robots for contests of strength.

Kinetic Kamp
Monday, November 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For children ages 7 to 9

Get charged up for this exciting camp focused on the all the amazing forms of energy that surround us!  Campers will channel electric and light energy into colorful displays, utilize thermal energy to create flying devices, and balance potential and kinetic energy in the construction of thrilling rides.
