Students travel to the Science Centre to embark on an ear-opening journey into the science of sound.

You and your students will join a special guest expert in the IMAX Theatre for a big screen and big sound experience. Learn about the exciting field of soundscape ecology and explore the science of sound through this unique interactive IMAX experience

NOTE: This program is 90 minutes long and bookable only on specific dates.

This program is appropriate for students from grades 2-9, but has the best curriculum fit for:

• Energy: Students investigate the behaviours of light and sound

Grade 3

• Earth Systems: Students analyze changes in Earth’s surface and explain how its layers hold stories of the past

Grade 4

• Earth System: Students investigate the systems of Earth and reflect on how their interconnections sustain life

• Earth systems: Students analyze climate and connect it to weather conditions and agricultural practices
