Enhance your students' engagement in digital literacy, computational thinking, and coding concepts with interactive virtual sessions. The Northern Coding Academy invites Edmonton Teachers to enroll in a week-long series of lessons and challenges designed to cater simultaneously to multiple classes and grades.
Digital Skills Week is structured in two parts:
- Four live virtual sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, conducted on consecutive days by your dedicated Northern Coding Academy instructor.
- Optional additional activities for approximately 3.5 hours that students can complete at their own pace.
The cost is $225 for 4 x 45-minute sessions over four consecutive days.
Additional classes booked by the same school are $50.00 per class.

Students will explore essential computational thinking concepts! Computational thinking is really just problem solving in a way a computer understands. Breaking a problem into simpler steps, following instructions in order, recognizing when a problem is similar to something familiar. Learn computational thinking while exploring coding, games and activities!
Dates: May 5-8, 2026
Cost: This program is supported through funding from the Government of Canada for eligible schools. The program includes 4 x 45-minute sessions across four consecutive days.
