Enhance your students' engagement in digital literacy, computational thinking, and coding concepts with interactive virtual sessions. TELUS World of Science - Edmonton invites Alberta teachers to enroll in a week-long series of lessons and challenges designed to engage multiple classes and grades simultaneously.
Digital Skills Week is structured in two parts:
- Four live virtual sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, conducted on consecutive days by your dedicated instructor.
- Approximately 3.5 hours of additional optional activities for students to complete at their own pace.
The cost is $225 for 4 x 45-minute sessions over four consecutive days.
Additional classes booked by the same school are $50.00 per class.

Hello, Code!
Recommended for: Grades 4-6
Students will explore essential computational thinking concepts! Computational thinking is really just problem solving in a way a computer understands. Breaking a problem into simpler steps, following instructions in order, recognizing when a problem is similar to something familiar. Learn computational thinking through coding, games and activities!
Cost: $225.00 per class for 4 x 45-minute sessions across four consecutive days.
Additional classes from the same school are $50.00 per class.

Game On!
Recommended for: Grades 4-6
How do we create video games? What’s code got to do with it? Students will learn how computational thinking helps us design video games, then create a game of their own using MakeCode Arcade!
Dates: June 2-5, 2026
Cost: $225.00 per class for 4 x 45-minute sessions across four consecutive days.
