In this two-part pre-recorded & in-person program, your students will be members of a Dangerous Goods Emergency Response Team investigating a chemical spill accident. Students test several “hazardous” substances to determine their physical and chemical properties to identify the mystery spill.
Students will prepare for this important role by watching a pre-recorded video in their classroom before coming to an in-person session at the TELUS World of Science - Edmonton.
THIS PROGRAM CONSISTS OF:
- One 45 minute pre-recorded session to train your students as emergency responders
- One 45 minute in-person session at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton where students complete lab testing to solve a chemical mystery
