Rocket Quest: 40th Anniversary Sticker Blast

Join the excitement at 11:30 a.m. for the Science Centre's largest rocket launch ever! Watch 40 rockets soar, each carrying stickers to help you complete your special 40th Anniversary Sticker Sheet!

From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., you can aim for the stars with Asteroid Bean Bag Toss and take home some fun science-themed goodies!

Science with sprinkles! Head to the Syncrude Science Stage at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for a frosty treat that's as cool as it gets!

From 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., get ready to send your colourful creations soaring! Using everyday items like film canisters, food colouring, and a dash of science, you'll be a rocket scientist in no time!

You've seen fireworks, but do you know how fire works!? Don't miss this explosive demonstration at 2:00 p.m. on the Syncrude Science Stage, and discover the science behind those mesmerizing bursts of colour!

The Dream is Alive in IMAX

Celebrate the Science Centre's 40th Anniversary with the return of The Dream is Alive, which had it's world premiere at the Science Centre in 1985!

Shot by 14 NASA astronauts in 1984, this film offers an unprecedented view of space shuttle missions, including launches, landings, satellite repairs, and space walks. Experience the sensation of weightlessness and the splendor of Earth from 250 miles up!
