  • On June 21, recognize and celebrate the cultures and worldviews of Indigenous Peoples who traditionally stewarded the lands of amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, Beaver Hills House (Edmonton), through various experiences indoors and outdoors.

    8:00 a.m.**- Tipi raising and trappers tent build outside in partnership with Métis Child & Family Services

    9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. - Opening prayer from Elder Langford and lighting of the Qulliq in the main lobby (free access)

    10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Indigenous-inspired programming inside (included with Science Centre General Admission)

    10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Indigenous artisan market in the main lobby (free access)

    11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Free performances, activities, and Indigenous teachings outdoors

    11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Free BBQ provided by Pembina outdoors

    *Schedule subject to change, weather permitting.

    ** The Science Centre opens at 9:00 a.m.

Science Centre General Admission will be FREE for Indigenous peoples on June 21 (ticket required at the Box Office).
