On July 12, prepare for some electrifying fun to celebrate Nikola Tesla Day!
An inventor and electrical engineer, Nikola Tesla is best known for inventing alternating-current (AC) electricity and the Tesla coil, an induction coil widely used today in radio and television.
From 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. enjoy electrifying science experiments, electric-themed activities, a Zeidler Dome show featuring laser displays and videos celebrating Nikola Tesla, and much more! Plus, learn more about Nikola Tesla and his inventions at booths set up by the Nikola Tesla Historical Society! It's fun for the whole family!

Pick up your Scavenger Hunt pamphlet as you enter the building, and find all six hidden items to win a prize!*

Watch this energizing live demo that explores electricity with a Van de Graaf generator and a Tesla coil!

Stop by the Nikola Tesla Historical Society table and try operating remote-controlled watercraft!


Tesla Tales Across the Globe
2:00 p.m. in the Zeidler Dome
A global tribute to a genius! The world's thank you to Nikola Tesla. This movie will be premiered in the Zeidler Dome, in honour of Nikola Tesla's 169th birthday.


Prize Draws
4:00 p.m. near the Science Stage
All individuals completing the scavenger hunt will get an entry form to enter the draw for a chance to win prizes.
