When you gaze upwards at the night sky, ever wonder what someone else on the other side of the Earth sees when they look at those same stars?
For centuries, people of different cultures, speaking different languages, have interpreted the cosmos with their own perspectives, imaginations, and emotions. One Sky takes viewers on an immersive journey around the world – with stops in India, Japan, Hawaii, China, Greece, and Canada – to explore themes that resonate across space and time. One Sky is a montage of short full-dome films, and each film is presented in a unique and stunning creative style that celebrates our shared humanity that brings us together when we look up at the same sky. From clocks and calendars to white tigers and guiding canoes, the cosmos serves an important purpose to everyone.
Whether the stars are being used as directional tools or for spiritual comfort, One Sky serves as a reminder that we have so much more that binds our cultures than separates us.

Going back centuries, cultures around the world have used the stars in the night sky to depict the characters and objects from their cultural stories. Some of these stories in the night sky represent their myths and legends, while others represent important seasonal or directional knowledge needed for the Indigenous people’s survival. One Sky is a blending of short full dome films representing the perspectives of different cultures or Indigenous societies from around the globe. Through this combination of stories, we see the larger narrative – organized around themes of "Finding Patterns" and developing tools, or as we say, "To Seek Far."
