Science Wahkotowin: Our relationship with AI

Step into the world of artificial intelligence through a new lens. In this fun, hands-on, and discussion-led program, students explore questions like “What is AI?”, “How does it work”, and “Can I trust it?”. Guided by teachings from local Cree and Anishinaabe Knowledge Keepers, students will gain an intuition on how AI works, and what we need to consider when building a reciprocal and ethical relationship with one of today’s most prominent technologies.

Please note that our flexible program length (45-60 minutes) allows our sessions to be guided by student capacity and curiosity

Computer Science: Students apply design processes when creating artifacts that can be used by a human or machine to address a need.
