The RASC Observatory is an incredible way to view the stars and planets! It is located in Coronation Park, just southeast of the science centre. There is no charge for admission.
All openings are dependent upon weather and sky conditions:
- Temperatures must be above -10 degrees Celsius (including wind chill).
- Skies must be clear and not cloudy.
Summer Hours of Operation (June 26 to September 7, 2026)
Daily: 1:15 pm – 4:45 pm
Thursday and Sunday nights: 7:15 pm – 9:45 pm
Friday and Saturday nights: 8:15 pm – 11:45 pm
All openings are weather dependent.
Hours of operation may change to accommodate special astronomical events.
