Where Science Meets Cocktails 2026 Update
The party will have to wait, but the science doesn’t.
Due to an extended closure following the flooding in July, Where Science Meets Cocktails will not go ahead on October 8, 2026.
It’s one of our favourite nights of the year: great food, drinks, science and an incredible community all come together to transform the Science Centre into Edmonton's largest food and drink laboratory. It’s also our largest annual fundraiser, helping bring our mission of Science for All to life.
Our doors may be temporarily closed, but there are still meaningful ways your support can help keep science education and outreach moving, expand access for schools and families, and build a future where science truly is for all.

Where Science Meets Cocktails is the Science Centre’s premier fundraising event of the year, hosted by the Edmonton Space & Science Foundation, a registered charity that operates the Science Centre. Proceeds from this event directly support science education programs and initiatives, helping to inspire curiosity and learning throughout the community.
