What are the fees* for Home School Days?
45 minute programs** - $6.50 per learner
60 minute programs** - $8.50 per learner
$9.00 Science Centre admission per person (learners and parents)
Admission can be purchased at the box office upon arrival. If you hold a valid Science Centre Membership, admission is waived.
* Special Events may have different pricing depending on available activities. All prices, programs, dates, and policies are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include GST. GST will be added where applicable.

How far in advance do I need to book?
Spaces book up fast, so it is recommended to book early. Students must register at least four weeks prior to the scheduled date to take advantage of the special programming rates.
Are my program tickets refundable?
Programming tickets are a final sale and non-refundable. You are welcome to pass the ticket on to another child if you are unable to attend on that day.
Do I need to stay with my child during programming?
You are welcome to stay with your child during the program, but it is not required.
Can we attend a Zeidler Dome show on Home School Days?
Zeidler Dome shows are included in your general admission ticket price.
Is the Feature Exhibit available on Home School Days?
The Feature Exhibition may be available on Home School Days; however, some exhibitions require an additional charge. If an extra fee applies, regular public or Member rates will be in effect.
Some Feature Exhibitions are included with General Admission – please check our website during the run of each exhibition for details.
Can we attend an IMAX show on Home School Days?
Yes. IMAX Films are available during Home School Days. Public and Member rates apply. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the Box Office upon arrival.
Is The Nature Exchange open for trading on Home School Days?
Yes, the trading desk will be open. More information can be found online for the Trading Centre.
What time should we arrive for Home School Days?
We recommend arriving fifteen minutes before your program to give you time to find parking, purchase your general admission tickets, and find your way to your programming space.
Is there somewhere to store our coats and bags?
Public coat storage is provided but unsupervised - please do not leave valuable items. Lockers are available in the lobby, and take a loonie to lock.
Is there a place for us to eat our bagged lunches?
We provided lunch tables in the lobby area for bagged lunches. There is no microwave available. Please leave the seating area in the Purple Pear restaurant for those purchasing food. View the Purple Pear hours.
Is the Galaxy Gift Shop open?
The Galaxy Gift Shop is open from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. when the Science Centre is open. We encourage you to engage your inner scientist with science-inspired gifts, gadgets, games, books, eco-gifts, mementos, jewelry, educational and science toys, Do-It-Yourself Science Kits (created by TELUS World of Science), and an array of other curiosities and collectibles.
