Many dog toys make sound. Why is that? When dogs bite a squeaky toy, the sound gives the them instant feedback and a sense of power.

Drop in to create and design your own toy (not meant for use with real dogs).

The Science Garage

DIY Dog Tugs

Instead of buying a new tug toy, only for them to be destroyed within the week, learn to make your own using upcycled textiles.

Don't own a dog? No problem! Come make one to donate to the Edmonton Humane Society.

Arctic Furs

Touch and learn about the furs of various Arctic animals including, Tiriganiq (the Arctic Fox), from the canine family!

The Science Centre will be open on Monday, May 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
