Grade 1 and 2 Camps
Curious Kids
Dates:
Four-day camps: June 29-July 3 (no camp on July 1), and August 4-7
Five-day camps: July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, August 10-14, and August 17-21
Curious Kids camp is specially designed for curious minds going into grades one and two! Campers will try a little bit of everything, uncovering the wonders of the natural world, delving into the mysteries of chemistry, programming robots, and engaging in building challenges.
Tech Tinkerers
Dates:
Four-day camps: June 29-July 3 (no camp on July 1)
Five-day camps: July 13-17, July 27-31, and August 10-14
Spark imagination and curiosity in Tech Tinkerers, where campers will take apart, build, and experiment with a variety of tech-inspired tools and activities. From simple circuits and gadgets to creative problem-solving challenges, it’s the perfect camp for kids who love to tinker!
Wild Wonders
Dates:
Four-day camps: August 4-7
Five-day camps: July 6-10, July 20-24, and August 17-21
In Wild Wonders, campers will explore their surrounding environment, collecting samples to observe with scientific tools and deepening their understanding of nature’s hidden wonders. They’ll work together to build a bee or insect hotel, while learning about important pollinators and ecosystems.
Cool Creators
Dates:
Four-day camps: June 29-July 3 (no camp on July 1)
Five-day camps: July 13-17, July 27-31, and August 10-14
Campers in Cool Creators will explore the intersection of art and science by investigating colour, medium, and scale. Utilizing the creative design process, campers will discover science from a different perspective.
Mighty Makers
Dates:

Five-day camps: July 13-17, July 27-31, and August 10-14
Mighty Makers is a haven for young minds who are passionate about creating, building, and exploring the engineering world! Campers will use awesome tools and their boundless imaginations to design, build, test, demolish, and build again. From constructing tall towers to participating in LEGO® building challenges, this camp is an engineering wonderland.
Grade 3 and 4 Camps
Clever Coders
Dates:
Four-day camps: June 29-July 3 (no camp on July 1)
Five-day camps: July 13-17, July 27-31, and August 10-14
Clever Coders camp builds confidence in coding and robotics through hands-on, creative challenges. Campers will design video games, program robots, and explore how coding connects to everyday life using engaging on- and off-screen activities.
Eco Explorers
Dates:
Four-day camps: June 29-July 3 (no camp on July 1)
Five-day camps: July 13-17, July 27-31, and August 10-14
Campers in Eco Explorers will investigate urban ecosystems and uncover how animals and plants adapt to city life. Through engaging activities and fun outdoor exploration, they'll learn how their actions impact the environment and what they can do to help protect it.
Science Artistry

Dive into colorful experiments, creative design challenges, and imaginative projects in Science Artistry! From making artistic creations inspired by scientific concepts to experimenting with materials and motion, campers will have fun discovering how these two worlds come together.
Eager Engineers
Dates:
Four-day camps: August 4-7
Five-day camps: July 6-10, July 20-24, and August 17-21
Eager Engineers invites campers to design, build, and test exciting engineering creations. From flying devices and bridges to roller coasters and Rube Goldberg machines, every project brings engineering to life through hands-on creativity and problem-solving.
Jr. Scientists
Dates:
Four-day camps: August 4-7
Five-day camps: July 6-10, July 20-24, and August 17-21
Curiosity and creativity come alive through hands-on STEAM exploration in Jr. Scientists. Campers will dive into exciting experiments and discoveries across science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, building a lasting love of learning.
Grades 5, 6, and 7 Camps
Megabytes Coding
Dates:
Four-day camps: August 4-7
Five-day camps: July 6-10, July 20-24, and August 17-21
This unique summer camp experience is a deep dive into the world of coding, allowing campers to explore various technology topics. From video game development to robotics programming, campers will embark on a coding adventure that combines education with fun.
This camp is for everyone! No previous coding experience is needed!
Program for Ages 13-17
Leaders in Training - Level 1 & 2
Cost: $100 + GST per participant, per week
Registrants must be 13 years old before July 1, 2026.
The Leaders in Training program is designed to empower and educate young individuals while working in a safe and supported environment.
It is a weekly program where participants help run science camps, create STEAM activities, develop leadership skills, and practice science communication while supporting fun and engaging programs.

Camp Add Ons
LUNCH OPTIONS
Prior to the first day of camps, add-on a hot lunch option from the Purple Pear Restaurant.
- $48* for a four-day camp
- $60* for a five-day camp
- $13* for lunch bought from the Box Office the day of the camp, not in advance.
All camp lunches will include an entrée, a cookie, yogurt, apple slices, and a choice of water or juice.

Unfortunately, the Purple Pear Restaurant is unable to accommodate menu changes. If your child does not like certain menu items, or has restrictive dietary needs, the Science Centre strongly recommends that they bring their own lunch to camp.
PRE-CARE & POST-CARE
Need a little extra time before or after a scheduled camp? Add pre-care available from 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. and post-care available from 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Camp T-Shirt
Camp t-shirts cost $20* each and can be purchased online during registration and picked up at the Box Office.
